Our Wedding

Sydney and Zeyad’s love story began in September of 2022, during Sydney’s senior year at Baldwin Wallace University. Their first official date was at a local Mexican restaurant called Maya. What started as a few dates quickly grew into something undeniable, and on October 19, 2022, they officially began their journey together as a couple!

Our Story

Their story is one of growth, perseverance, and choosing each other through every season. At its core, their love is also the story of two very different people from very different backgrounds finding unity. From the very beginning, God’s hand has been over their relationship, guiding them through distance, change, and transformation. When Sydney moved to New York City, they navigated nearly three years of long-distance with faith, trust, and unwavering commitment.

While dating, Zeyad gave his life to Christ, which strengthened the foundation of their relationship. In a moment that perfectly reflects their journey, Zeyad proposed to Sydney on the very day he was baptized—a day that marked both a spiritual rebirth and the promise of forever.

Grounded in love, faith, and purpose, God has faithfully carried them from their first meeting to this next chapter. They are endlessly grateful for the path that led them here and ready to step into marriage hand in hand, hearts aligned with faith at the center of it all.

Valet service begins at 4:15 PM; guest arrival is at 5:00 PM. The entrance is on Wilbur Street behind the hotel. Event and valet signs will be posted to guide guests.

What to wear

We can't wait to be with you on our special day!

The wedding dress code is formal attire; men are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, and women can opt for a floor-length gown, a nice cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit. Please refrain from wearing sneakers, jeans, t-shirts or caps/hats.

We request that guests do not wear white, cream, or ivory in honor of the bride.
